sweatin' to the oldies

So, recently, i've been trying to find a way out of my workout rut. It's difficult to go to the gym every day and work out using machines. No encouragement. No interaction. So, today I decided to take the plunge and go to a spinning class. Sure, I was embarassed sweatin' it up to she's a bad mamogama, but by the time Billy Idol's white wedding blasted through the speakers, I was hooked. After my sweat sesh I got ready to go to Grapefest in Grapevine. It was hot, not too crowded and smelled of corn dogs, cotton candy and other fair-like food. As we made our way through, passing jewelry tents and sunburned babies, we arrived at Su Vino for some wine tasting. mmm. So, I report my favorites as the cheapest and the most expensive listed: peachy keen ;) and Grande Finale. We swirled, sniffed and sipped, eating complimentary dark chocolate in between flavors. We even tasted the wine from the movie Sideways, Gewurztraminer. Yes, this was exciting for me. Sadly, we did not stomp grapes or tour the vineyard, because both cost extra, and I am still clueless as to which goes with what food, but that's ok. I basically vegged the rest of the day on the couch and later on my bed watching tv shows on dvd. And now I'm going to return to my vegitative state and go to sleep. mmmm....I could go for an aromatherapy massage.
